The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has issued a reminder to the public about the approaching deadline for the replacement of expired banknotes (Prior to the Sixth Series 2020) through all banks operating in the Sultanate of Oman.
The deadline will expire by the end of business hours on September 21, 2026.
The CBO noted that the bank will not accept any claims related to the replacement of the expired banknotes after September 21, 2026.
